Waitrose Tour and Work Experience (Building Happier Futures)

In partnership with John Lewis Partnership and Waitrose, Drive Forward Foundation is offering young people the chance to take part in a supported tour and work experience programme designed to build confidence, skills and real routes into work.

This opportunity is part of Waitrose’s Building Happier Futures programme and is aimed at people who want to explore retail and customer-focused roles.

What is the opportunity?

You will take part in a short, supportive programme made up of:

1. Store tour
A guided tour of a Waitrose store to help you understand how the business works and what different roles look like in practice.

2. Three-day job shadowing placement
You will complete 3 days of job shadowing in-store, supported by staff and the Drive Forward team.

3. Interview invitation
Young people who complete the work experience will be invited to interview and will be considered for paid role at the store if they are available.

Please note that participation in this programme does not constitute a job offer, and any opportunities will depend on local hiring needs at the time.

The placements are across London and are updated on a weekly basis with new stores added.
