What are the Event Steward & SIA-Licensed roles available:

  • SIA Door Supervisors (Must Hold A Valid SIA Door Supervisor License)
  • Event Stewards (Does not need a SIA License)

About the role:

These roles will involve ensuring the safety and welfare of spectators, providing high levels of
customer service, and contributing to the smooth running of events at most iconic venues in the
country. Successful candidates will be expected to interact confidently with the public, give clear
information and directions, and support crowd management and safety procedures throughout each
event.

Key requirements and expectations will include:

  • Communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with spectators, colleagues, and management, including understanding and following written and verbal instructions.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively as part of a wider event team, taking direction from supervisors and supporting colleagues during busy and high-pressure periods.
  • Professional appearance: Smart, tidy presentation at all times, wearing the appropriate uniform.
  • Customer service: A friendly, approachable manner and a genuine focus on delivering a positive experience for all guests, including handling queries and minor issues confidently and politely.
  • Reliability and commitment: A strong level of commitment to attend all allocated fixtures and events, including evenings, weekends and key dates across the season.
  • Keep their availability up to date on our booking system in advance of published fixtures.
  • Honour all accepted shifts and communicate at the earliest opportunity if exceptional circumstances arise.
  • Understand that regular non-attendance or last-minute cancellations have a direct operational impact on safety plans and client confidence

TBC dependent on role.

  • Black suit
  • White shirt
  • Black clip on tie
  • Black Trousers (Not Jeans or Cargos)
  • Black boots or shoes
  • Black outside jacket
