40% of care leavers aged 19–21 are not in education, employment or training — three times the national rate. Your support helps us close that gap. We believe no young person should be defined by their past. With your support, we help care-experienced young people take control of their future.
What we can achieve together
Every young person leaving care deserves opportunity, empathy and respect.
Drive Forward Foundation helps care-experienced young people build the confidence, skills and stability they need to thrive in their careers, their communities, and in life.
“Drive Forward isn’t just a charity — they feel like family. You don’t have to be in a set place to join. You could be anywhere on your journey.” – Derin, Policy Forum member and medical student

Our approach is holistic, consistent, and flexible
Co-developed with young people, informed by research, and delivered by experts who understand the impact of trauma and transition.
Through personalised coaching, trauma-informed counselling, and partnerships with employers like The Crown Estate, Superdrug, Lloyds Bank, or John Lewis, we’ve supported over 1,000 young people this year alone, with over 80% sustaining work or education for at least 13 weeks.
When a care-experienced young person secures stable employment, the impact ripples through families, communities and workplaces — breaking cycles and building social mobility for generations to come.
