London – 1 February 2024 – Drive Forward Foundation, the leading charity supporting care-experienced young people in securing employment and achieving financial independence, is delighted to announce the appointment of distinguished barrister Sir Max Hill KCB KC as its new Chair of Trustees.

Sir Max brings an exceptional wealth of experience and passion to Drive Forward Foundation, having dedicated his career to championing justice and advocating for vulnerable individuals. His outstanding legal acumen, leadership skills, and unwavering commitment to youth empowerment make him an ideal leader for Drive Forward.

In Sir Max’s words, “I’m deeply honoured to join Drive Forward Foundation as Chair. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by care-experienced young people, I firmly believe in the Foundation’s transformative mission. Their work empowering these young people to build successful futures is truly inspiring, and I’m eager to contribute my expertise in any way I can.”

Sir Max’s connection to Drive Forward Foundation originated through the charity’s Care-Experienced Policy Forum, a dynamic group of young campaigners utilising their own experiences to bridge the gap between policymakers and lived realities. His dedication to youth justice and commitment to collaborative solutions align perfectly with our mission. We are confident that his guidance and expertise will significantly strengthen our impact and propel us towards achieving even greater success for care-experienced young people.”
